I met Solly while he was standing next to a fire to warm himself up before he goes to work. He told me that he has to take the bus at 4am to get to work on time. He lives in Acornhoek (approxomately 70km away from Hoedspruit) because there is no informal settlement in Hoedspruit. There is no housing for the workers on the farms neither do they provide transportation for their workers. The workers have to travel to work using public transport.
